The DLN team has returned from a rewarding trip to the RILA LINK 2019 Show in Orlando, Florida. Our team spoke with over a dozen key connections at the event, which brought together hundreds of attendees working in the retail supply chain.

We joined hundreds of prestigious organizations in exhibiting at RILA and were able to reconnect with manufacturing partners we have worked with for years, as well as meet new potential partners that offer innovative solutions to solve our clients’ problems.

Our team’s favorite area of the hall was the center of the Expo Experience, which was a large open area designed to encourage conversation.

Barbara Kahn is an internationally recognized scholar on variety seeking, brand loyalty, retail assortment issues and patient decision-making whose research provides marketing managers with a better understanding of the consumer choice process.Her presentation was described as “entertaining and engaging,” by Marc Gordon, who was captivated by Kahn’s Retailing Success Matrix (link).This matrix defines the retail behemoth Amazon as having a “frictionless customer experience,” in that it has eliminated customer pain points of the hassle of shopping and returns, and made purchasing goods as easy as possible. Did you attend RILA LINK 2019?
