1. What do you like most about working in the automated distribution industry?

I enjoy working interactively with customers in order to find the right solution for the problems that they are experiencing.

2. How did you come to work at DLN?

I was blessed to start working at DLN right after the company started.  I knew the owners from working with them previously and was asked to join the company.

3. How long have you been with DLN?

I have been with DLN for over 18 years and have been in the automation / distribution industry for over 25 years.

4. Can you describe your role?

I am primarily involved with up front project work. I work with customers concepting solutions and planning the implementation.  I am involved with new and existing systems and assist in managing details that come up along the way.

I also conduct system audits to help our customers find efficiencies in existing facilities. We audit and then advise our clients to do specific maintenance, refurbishment or process changes to make their facility run smoother without huge capital expense. Over the years I have been involved in numerous endeavors to help our business move forward.

5. What is something most people don’t know about you?

I love canoeing and REAL camping.  I ran with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain.

Editor’s note: Wieneke is pronounced as “WIN-a-key”
