This Grand Rapids based position for a Senior Robotics Engineer will be part of the Project Engineering group in the Robotics, Automation, and Development team but will also provide support to our Controls team and Lifecycle Service teams as needed. The desired candidate will provide technical leadership, work autonomously, and provide Robotic / Controls support and maintenance functions by troubleshooting and making design improvement in a wide variety of material handling environments. Successful candidates should have experience / knowledge with robotics, machine design, PLC hardware/software, HMIs, vision systems, communications, conveying system, and electrical distribution. This experience should allow the candidate to be able to implement all aspects of robotic cells from conception, simulation, and programming to implementation and support.
