A group of DLN Integrated Systems team members attended the 17th annual gala celebrating Michigan’s Top 50 Companies on July 20th in Lansing, Michigan. The gala recognized the winners of the Michigan Top 50 Companies To Watch, announced earlier this year. Along with the 2021 winners, the 2020 winners were invited to attend as the gala was virtual last year due to the pandemic.

“It was an amazing experience to attend the gala in person. Being in the same room as the other winners really highlighted how much of an honor it is to have been recognized with this award.”

The award is given to privately held second stage companies headquartered in Michigan, that are growing and making an impact in Michigan. In order to receive the award, a company must be nominated and supply information about the business, corporate culture, and plans for growth. That information is evaluated and the winners are selected and recognized in a gala celebration.

“Michigan Celebrates received 575 nominations for the Michigan 50 Companies to Watch award in 2020, which surpassed the 2019 record of 425 nominations,” stated Jennifer Deamud, MCSB Board Chair and Executive Director of Michigan Manufacturing Growth Alliance. “In addition to a competitive landscape for this award, the businesses who are selected by the judges go through a rigorous due diligence process prior to the final decision.”

Michigan Celebrates Small Business (MCSB) remains on the forefront of championing small business and fostering the entrepreneurial spirit in Michigan. MCSB brings together the resources of collaborative partners and supporters so that they may raise the profile of small businesses in Michigan, build a network of entrepreneurial companies, and tell the stories of successful, growing Michigan entrepreneurs.
