Several DLN team members attended the 2024 IFDA Solutions conference in Kansas City, Missouri last week.
Billed as the only event designed by and made for operations professionals in food distribution, it is where food distribution professionals gather to hear industry-leading speakers and innovators.
DLN exhibited during expo hours at Booth 315. Our team was on hand to connect with food service professionals and share how we help distributors optimize their facilities. We also hosted Rachel Murphy, who offered caricatures to our guests. See them all here >>https://rachel-murphy.smugmug.com/FIDA-Kansas-City-

Monday keynote was delivered by former presidential aide, author and economist Dr. Pippa Malgren, who opened the conference discussion with a talk on how the foodservice distribution industry will both influence and be influenced by technological innovation, inflation and geopolitics.

Tuesday keynote was presented by Dr. Nick Bontis, leading academic researcher and management consultant, who discussed how to cope with informational bombardment and achieve industry competitiveness.
Educational sessions on both Monday and Tuesday covered a range of topics, such as when to implement automation, traceability, safety, and AI.
DLN Luke Nuber presented “Modernizing DC Operations” on Tuesday morning, which covered the strategic significance of revamping DC processes, emphasizing the adoption of state-of-the-art technologies, and innovative methods to streamline operations.

Luke described how modernizing your DC results in more efficient customer-centric delivery, reduces resource consumption, and ultimately provides you a competitive edge in the marketplace.
