Solutions Architect

Job Description

DLN Integrated Systems is seeking a highly motivated consulting professional to serve in the front-end efforts of our Solutions Development group. This role will work with our clients to help identify and scope opportunities to improve their operations, providing data analysis, operational assessments, technology evaluations and business case justifications for the automated warehousing systems we provide. We are looking for a driven, creative, and personable individual to join our team to help grow our business.

Specific Duties

  • Client facing role along with Account Executive, to identify, scope and assess feasibility of projects.
  • Collaborate in a team environment to assist in the development of automated solutions both internal and external with our partners.
  • Comprehensive data analysis and process evaluation.
  • Utilize design tools to help facilitate capacity analysis, facility sizing and evaluation of appropriate technologies.
  • Develop business case studies to ensure that our proposed solutions have a sound financial justification.
  • Investigate and evaluate different technologies for potential applications of the proposed solutions based on design requirements and business case of the project.
  • Build compelling presentations to outline technical aspects, financial viability and benefits directly related to business requirements.
  • Review proposal documents prior to sending to client.
  • Travel to Client and/or Vendor facilities as needed (up to 50%).
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or technical field preferred.
  • 5 years’ experience in supply chain consulting, operations management, or automated material handling systems.
