Challenge
- Boscov’s Reading, PA facility had been used for 20 years and was not as fast or as large as current volume required
- Additional sortation capacity was needed to support store growth and improve efficiency throughout the building
- The facility included several areas that had become outdated, including the legacy warehouse software

- DLN began by laser scanning the existing DC to map every square inch for maximum precision
- Outdated equipment was removed and replaced with new high speed conveyor, improved sortation, more efficiency picking systems
- Warehouse software was replaced with PRODirect, a customized solution that was customized to match Boscov’s processes
