Sr. Account Executive

Job Description

DLN is seeking an experienced Sr. Account Executive to represent DLN to the marketplace and build topline growth. This role will balance the development of new business while also managing accounts. DLN seeks to develop relationships with our clients where we earn the right to be a trusted advisor for all areas of their business. This role will be involved in not only the discovery and development of opportunities but also provide guidance on the development of solutions for those opportunities.

Specific Duties

  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters to your clients.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships and implement strategies for expanding DLN’s integration and service offerings.
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key client stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics, using company tools (account plans, reports, etc.).
  • Up to 50% travel requirement.

Qualifications

Skills
  • Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with clients and executive level personnel.
  • Success writing and presenting proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Success developing and lead presentations that clearly outline the benefit of DLN solutions and implementation strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a result driven, team-oriented environment strategic and analytical skills.
  • Proven success recognizing, analyzing, and capitalizing on available client opportunities.
  • Ability to identify decision makers, connect with “pain points”, negotiate terms, and close business opportunities.

Education and Experience

  • >5 years sales experience in automated material handling systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering or technical field preferred.
