What do you like most about working in the automated distribution industry?
Two things: the variety and the problem solving. Even though the equipment and solutions we implement may be similar, the application is unique for each customer and project. I enjoy working closely with customers to understand their distinct operation challenges and coming up with solutions together as a team.
How did you come to work at DLN?
I have worked in the materials handling industry for almost two decades. Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to work with some of the great people who are now at DLN. As the company expanded, it was a natural transition for me to join the team.

Almost 2 years.
Can you describe your role?
My title is Senior Application & Estimating Engineer. I work on the front end of the DLN business cycle to support the business development team who provide quotes and proposals for potential clients. As part of this, I work closely with our engineers, project managers and business partners to provide the best solutions. I also manage pulling together the technical drawings and specifications for proposals as well as overall investment figures.
What is something most people don’t know about you?
I love spending time in nature no matter the season. I love walks through the woods, biking, watching sunsets over the water, or just sitting outside around a fire.
